SHERQ Manager
Location: Head Office (with routine site visits)
Reports to: COO
Purpose of the Role:
To embed a world-class Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) culture across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational risk mitigation, and the safety of all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and institutionalize SHERQ policies and systems
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigations
Promote a safety-first culture through training and compliance monitoring
Ensure company-wide adherence to ISO and NEBOSH standards
Serve as liaison with environmental, health, and safety regulators
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant bachelor’s degree with NEBOSH certification
Postgraduate qualification in OHSE
At least 7 years’ experience in HSE, safety analysis, or logistics-related field
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management practices
