• Have the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of your organization where applicable.

Service availability may vary depending on location, capacity, and operational requirements.

4. Customer responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate shipment information.
• Ensure goods are packaged appropriately.
• Clearly declare hazardous, fragile, or regulated goods.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Pay agreed service fees within the specified timelines.
• Cooperate with our operational requirements.

5. Prohibited shipments

We reserve the right to refuse transportation or storage of prohibited items, including but not limited to:

• Illegal goods
• Hazardous materials without proper documentation
• Explosives
• Firearms where prohibited
• Counterfeit products
• Perishable goods without prior agreement
• Any items prohibited under Ugandan law

6. Warehousing services

For warehousing services:

• Customers remain responsible for ownership of stored goods.
• Storage fees apply according to agreed pricing.
• Goods should be clearly identified and properly packaged.
• Inventory records are maintained using our warehouse management systems.
• Long-term storage may be subject to additional terms.

7. Transportation and delivery

While we strive to meet estimated delivery timelines, delivery schedules may be affected by:

• Weather conditions
• Traffic disruptions
• Customs procedures
• Security incidents
• Government restrictions
• Events beyond our reasonable control

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

8. Pricing and payments

Pricing is determined based on:

• Shipment size
• Weight
• Distance
• Storage duration
• Additional requested services

Invoices must be settled within the agreed payment period. Late payments may attract applicable penalties where permitted by law.

9. Loss and damage

We exercise reasonable care in handling customer goods. However, our liability may be limited where loss or damage results from:

• Inadequate packaging
• Incorrect shipment information
• Natural disasters
• Acts of third parties
• Force majeure events
• Customer negligence

Customers are encouraged to obtain appropriate cargo insurance for high-value shipments.

10. Intellectual property

All website content, trademarks, logos, software, designs, and branding remain the property of Klan Logistics unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Website availability

We aim to maintain continuous availability of our website and digital services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
